AccumulationSwingIndex

Description

The Accumulation Swing Index is a study calculated as a cumulative total of the Swing Index with a specified limit move. This study is considered a more powerful tool for analyzing long-term trends than the Swing Index itself. If the long-term uptrend is observed, the accumulative swing index is represented by a positive value. Conversely, in case of long-term downtrend, the accumulative swing index is negative. If the long-term trend is sideways, the accumulative swing index fluctuates between positive and negative values.
