My Tools is a customizable toolbar that provides quick access to up to 25 different tools. Use this feature to display your frequently used drawings, studies, study sets, styles, and time frames.
When My Tools is first enabled, it loads the Default set with Trendline, Text Note, and SimpleMovingAvg buttons. Multiple My Tools sets can be created, and each is login-persistent and remains unchanged regardless of the loaded workspace.
To enable My Tools:
- Open the Charts interface.
- Click ú Style > " Settings…; this will open the Chart Settings window.
- On the General tab, find My Tools.
- Use the dropdown menu to select the desired display mode.
- On each chart: Add a toolbar to each chart in the application. Different My Tools sets can be applied to individual charts in this mode.
- Single panel: Add a common toolbar for all charts in the application as a separate window.
- Click OK to save your changes.

To customize My Tools buttons, click the Configure buttons " icon.
The editor opens with the currently active set; to edit a different one, use Load set. For more information on this, see Manage Sets.
- To add a new tool, click the × Add button and select from the available options.
- Click an existing tool to edit it. The following options are available:
- Rename button
- Change button action
- Delete button
- Once you finish the customizations, click Save to apply your changes. To discard them, click Cancel or close the editor window.
When there are unsaved changes to the active set, an asterisk appears next to the set name in the editor (for example, Default*).
Depending on the number of tools, some items may be hidden. To browse all items:
- Expand the toolbar or use the scrollbar (Single panel display mode).
- Click the See hidden tools Ō button (On each chart display mode). Note that if the toolbar is full, drawings and time frames will be represented by their icons, and their names will automatically disappear.
Manage Sets

To access set management, open the My Tools editor by clicking the Configure buttons " icon, then click the set name selector at the top of the editor window. The following options are available:
- Load set: Select a previously saved set to load. If the active set has unsaved changes, a confirmation dialog appears; click Yes to proceed and discard unsaved changes, or No to return to the editor.
- Save set as…: Save the current button configuration as a named set. Enter a name in the Save set dialog and click Save.
- Rename set…: Rename the active set. This item is unavailable when the Default set is active.
- Reset Default set to factory default: Restore the Default set to its original configuration (Trendline, Text Note, and SimpleMovingAvg). This item appears only when the Default set is active.
- Delete set: Select a previously saved set to delete. Deleting the active set returns the editor to the Default set, which cannot be deleted.
Add Tools to Chart

Select a tool to add to the chart. You can define how tools are added to your Charts area using one of the following options:
- ő Apply to chart: Add the selected tool to the current chart.
- Ő Apply to grid: Add the selected tool to the whole grid.
- ŏ Apply to all grids: Add the selected tool to all existing grids.
Pin Toolbar

To fix the toolbar’s location click the pin È button. Depending on the selected display mode:
- On each chart: Display My Tools above the status string.
- Single Panel: Display My Tools above all other windows.
Click Ç to unpin the toolbar.
