DMA

Description

The Displaced Moving Average is a study which calculates a Simple Moving Average and shifts it forward or backward in time for a specified period. Note that due to displacement, the study plots effective SMA value with reduced length for last bars.

Input Parameters

Parameter Description
price The price used to calculate the average.
length The number of bars used to calculate the average.
displace The displacement of the DMA study, in bars. Negative values signify a backward displacement.
